Fellowship Finder is free to use, with guided listing setup and private on-site conversations. Discover Torah-observant community, preview your public listing, and choose when to connect. You do not need a paid plan or to exchange personal contact details to get started. Use your existing 119 Assistant account; only new users need to create an account. If you are already signed in, you can go straight to your listing.
Privacy and abuse protections are built into the workflow, but no technology can replace good judgment. You remain responsible for deciding whether, when, where, and how to interact with another person.
Fellowship Finder 2.0 is launching first on 119assistant.ai while the new 119Ministries.com website is being developed, with the goal of making the same Fellowship Finder experience available through both websites in the future.
The basic flow
1. Explore the community.Use the globe, List view, search, and filters to see believers, home groups, and fellowships/congregations.
2. Choose your own visibility.Create a listing if you want to be represented. You can be open to contact, switch to community-presence-only mode, pause the listing, resume it, or remove it later.
3. Start with a private request.Instead of publishing personal contact information, a signed-in member sends a short introduction through Fellowship Finder.
4. Connect only by mutual choice. The recipient may accept, decline, or block the request. Acceptance opens a private, text-only conversation within Fellowship Finder.
1.Search the community
Start with Search the community. Try a listing name, city, region, or country. Choose the listing types you want to see: Believers / Families, Home Groups, or Fellowships / Congregations.
On a phone, open Filters to see the extra options. Open to contact now removes presence-only listings from your results. The looking-for-fellowship, hosting, and starting-a-group filters narrow the results further.
Choose Globe or List on either phone or desktop. Open a pin or listing to see its details. A shared map point can contain several listings; choose the one you want from the selection panel. Your browser remembers your view preference.
No results? Use Reset search & filters to start again. Turning every listing type off intentionally shows no listings.
Open Find nearby. Enter a city or postal code and country, look up the area, and confirm the suggested location. Confirm the intended city rather than assuming a similarly named place is the right one.
Alternatively, choose Use my location and respond to your browser’s permission prompt. Location access is requested only when you choose that action. Denying permission does not prevent ordinary search or a city lookup.
Choose a distance radius and miles or kilometers. Nearby matches are ordered nearest first using their public map locations. Change the radius or clear nearby search to broaden the results.
Distances are approximate straight-line distances, not driving distances or private home locations. Listings without a usable map point cannot be distance-matched. This discovery location stays in the current page; reselect it after a reload. It is not a subscription to nearby updates.
Choose Create my listing and sign in. Existing owners see Manage my listing instead. The Listing tab is where you create or edit your public information.
For a new listing, work through listing type, public location, About and meeting details, availability, and the final preview and confirmations. Use a Believer / Family profile for a personal presence, Home Group / Bible Study for a home group, or Fellowship / Congregation for a fellowship.
Groups may optionally add a meeting day, local time with a time zone, in-person/online/hybrid format, and visitor preference. An unspecified field is not a negative answer. Contact the group to confirm arrangements before visiting.
Review This is what visitors will see, then complete the required participation agreement, age-18 confirmation, and separate sensitive-data consent before submitting for review. Existing owners can choose Preview public listing and return to editing.
Moving between steps is not a save. Unfinished entries stay in the open page, but refreshing, closing it, or leaving can discard them. Wait for the save confirmation. New listings and public-profile edits go through review; map placement can also take time. Do not repeatedly resubmit a successful save.
Open to connect means your active listing can receive new private contact requests. Turn it off to remain represented as Community presence only without inviting new requests. Your saved connection goals are not displayed publicly while contact is off.
Pause listing temporarily removes it from public discovery. Resume listing makes it available again when its required checks permit. Remove listing takes it out of the Finder without erasing existing request or conversation history.
Keep your information current and respond to a listing-reconfirmation notice when one appears. If a moderator has disabled contact, only a moderator can release that restriction; creating another listing is not a way around it.
Presence-only, paused, and removed are different choices. A presence-only listing is still public. Believer / Family map locations use a general area; a group’s exact meeting address is public only when its owner intentionally confirms publication. Preview your public information before submitting.
Open a currently contactable listing and choose Contact this listing. Sign in when prompted, write a brief introduction, and complete any required Fellowship confirmations. Your account email is not included in the contact request.
The recipient decides whether to accept, decline, or block a request. Sending one does not automatically open a conversation or oblige the recipient to reply. Presence-only listings do not offer new contact requests.
Open Requests in your Fellowship activity to handle requests. After acceptance, use Messages for the private text conversation. Use the available Close, Block, and Report controls when appropriate; reporting a specific message sends that message and your supplied context for review.
In an active, unarchived conversation, open Ideas for your next step for optional questions about a time, a public first-meeting place, or studying together. Choosing one appends it to your existing draft; it does not send a message or create a calendar invitation. Review and edit the draft before choosing Send. Resource links open a new tab so your unfinished draft stays open.
Take your time. Do not treat a listing or an accepted request as identity verification or an endorsement. Read the privacy and safety sections below before sharing personal details or arranging a meeting.
Open a listing and choose Save listing. Sign in and complete any required Fellowship confirmations. You do not need to publish your own listing to use bookmarks.
Use Saved listings on the Finder to return to your account’s collection. Each visit reads current public information rather than keeping a historical copy of someone’s profile.
Choose Remove saved listing to remove only your bookmark. If a profile becomes unavailable, its entry says Listing unavailable and can still be removed from your collection.
Saving does not contact or notify the owner, accept a request, or subscribe you to nearby updates or email alerts.
Use Copy listing link in a listing’s details to share that public listing. Use Copy search link on the Finder to share your keywords, listing types, filters, view, and ordinary results page.
If copying is blocked by your browser, select and copy the link shown in the fallback field. Open the link in another tab to check what you are sharing.
Use Back to results, the close control, Escape, or browser Back/Forward to move between listing details and your results without starting the search again. A hidden or removed listing is unavailable even through an old shared link.
Search links reveal their keywords and filters. Nearby areas, distance radiuses, and device coordinates are not included. A shared search preserves settings, not a frozen set of results; listings can change.
Open Nearby updates, sign in, and choose a city to follow. Look up and explicitly confirm its suggested area, select your radius and listing types, and opt in with the required Fellowship confirmations.
Return to Nearby updates for listings first made publicly discoverable after you started following that area. Ordinary edits and pausing/resuming a listing do not make it new again. Only current eligible listings appear.
Dismiss update clears one item; Dismiss displayed updates clears only what is shown. Change watched area starts a new watch. Turn off & delete settings removes the watched area and dismissal history without deleting bookmarks or conversations.
This is a private city-center preference saved to your account, separate from temporary Find nearby search. It does not import your device coordinates or enable email alerts. Dismissing an update does not remove the public listing.
Check Optional email alerts within Nearby updates for current availability. When delivery is paused, new email sign-ups and sending are unavailable; your on-site updates still work. A visible email section does not mean you are subscribed.
When available, email requires its own unchecked opt-in, a current watched area, a verified account email, and current Fellowship consent. Only qualifying first-public listings after both opt-ins can generate a generic reminder. Emails do not include nearby members’ names or profile details.
Use Turn off email alerts or the unsubscribe link in a received nearby email to stop these emails without changing on-site updates or bookmarks. Opening the unsubscribe confirmation page alone does not change settings; confirm the action. An email already being sent may still arrive.
Changing the watched area requires a new email opt-in. The current recipient is verified again before sending. Under a continuing subscription, reminders have a 24-hour cooldown and duplicate protection. Other account and support emails are separate.
All community metrics opens the full dashboard below the Finder. These are global community totals, not just the results currently inside your search or radius.
Active listings and Countries represented show the published network. Open to connect and Community presence only distinguish contact availability. Looking for fellowship and Ready to help build describe active, contactable listings’ selected connection goals.
New in 30 days counts new active listings. Connections started counts accepted introductions, not verified meetings. The three listing-type totals show Believers / Families, Home Groups, and Fellowships / Congregations. A listing can represent more than one person, so listing totals are not a headcount.
Totals may take a short time to refresh. A temporarily unavailable figure is not the same as zero. These statistics do not certify a participant’s identity, safety, or beliefs.
Yes. Creating a listing, sending contact requests, and using private Fellowship conversations do not require a paid plan. Sign in with a free account and complete the required Fellowship confirmations when prompted. New listings are reviewed before they become public.
Do I need to share my email, phone number, or home address?
No. You can send introductions and talk through Fellowship Finder without exchanging those details. Your account email is not shown to visitors or included in contact requests. Believer / Family listings show a city or general area rather than an exact home address. Groups may deliberately publish a public meeting address after confirming it. Public text is checked for obvious contact details, but you should still review your public preview and choose carefully what to share in messages.
Why can I not find my new or edited listing?
Check its status in the Listing tab. A successfully saved public profile may still be pending review or waiting for map placement. Paused or removed listings are not public. Also reset your search, check the selected listing types, and clear nearby search to include listings without map locations. A successful save is not a reason to submit the same listing repeatedly.
The globe or a search did not load. What should I do?
Use the displayed retry control, or switch to List view if the map is unavailable. Reset search and filters to remove unintended restrictions. If a full search fails, any retained local matches may be incomplete. A loading error does not mean the community is empty.
Will my unfinished listing be saved if I close the page?
No persistent draft autosave is provided. You can move backward through the steps or retry a failed save while the page stays open, but a reload, closed tab, or navigation away can discard unfinished entries. Some browsers warn before leaving; do not rely on that warning as a backup.
Why is there no contact button or no reply?
A listing may be presence-only, restricted, or unavailable. Sign in when prompted and check the Requests tab for your existing activity. The recipient chooses whether to accept or respond; do not repeatedly send introductions to force a response.
Why did a saved listing or shared link become unavailable?
The owner or a moderator may have changed its public availability. Bookmarks and shared links do not preserve access to hidden or removed details. Remove an unavailable bookmark or return to the Finder to explore current listings.
Why have I not received a nearby email?
Saving a listing and following an area do not enable email. Check the separate email setting, whether delivery is paused, and whether your account address is verified. Existing listings and routine edits do not qualify as new arrivals; cooldowns also limit frequency. Inbox delivery is not guaranteed. On-site Nearby updates can be checked independently.
For technical problems, use 119 Assistant Support. For a listing or message safety concern, use its Report control so the appropriate context can be reviewed. Never include passwords or unnecessary private information.
Designed to reduce spam, trolling, and unnecessary privacy exposure
These controls are intentionally layered. No single safeguard is expected to solve every problem by itself.
Respectful fellowship and message privacy
This practical guidance explains existing conduct rules and messaging limits. It does not replace or change the Safety & Participation Agreement.
Fellowship, not recruiting campaigns
Represent a genuine community presence, not a campaign whose primary purpose is advertising a ministry, channel, conference, fundraiser, product, or organization. A legitimate fellowship may describe itself and share its normal public website.
No spam, mass outreach, harassment, repeated doctrinal campaigning, or pressure to adopt your conclusions. Differences on secondary doctrines are not, by themselves, a violation. Respect a declined request, a block, and another person's decision to end contact.
Text-only messages and attachments
Fellowship messages are text-only. Photo and file attachments are disabled to limit unwanted file sharing and unnecessary privacy exposure. This does not make text messages risk-free.
Describe what you need in text instead. Do not paste sensitive records or another person's private information. You do not need to move to another app just to continue fellowship, and you should not feel pressured to share a file.
Screenshots and sharing
Fellowship Finder cannot reliably prevent screenshots, copying, forwarding, or someone photographing a screen. A recipient can preserve or share what you send outside the service.
Only send information you are comfortable entrusting to the recipient. Private between participants does not mean that a message cannot be copied or shared.
Moving off-platform is optional
You can keep communicating here without sharing your email address or phone number. Moving to email, text, another app, or an in-person meeting is your choice, not a requirement.
Fellowship Finder cannot access outside conversations, retrieve messages from another app, or make an on-site block stop outside contact. Consider that service's privacy settings and blocking/reporting tools before sharing contact details.
When something is wrong: decline or block unwanted contact, report a relevant listing, or use Report on a specific Fellowship message. For a private-message report, an authorized reviewer can see that reported message and context you intentionally provide, not a browseable inbox of your conversations. You may describe an off-platform concern in a relevant report; this does not give reviewers access to outside messages.
Private conversations are not routinely monitored. Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome and is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
A listing does not publish the owner’s account email address. A signed-in member sends a private introduction through Fellowship Finder, and the listing owner can accept, decline, or block it before a conversation opens.
Public-profile privacy checks
Public About and meeting-detail fields are checked for obvious email addresses, phone numbers, and street-address patterns. Website links are limited to normal http/https web addresses.
Safer map locations
Believer / Family profiles use a city or general area rather than an exact public address. Groups and fellowships may publish an exact meeting location only when they intentionally confirm that the address is meant to be public.
Anti-spam limits
Contact requests, private messages, and safety reports have server-side limits designed to make automated spam, flooding, and repeated abuse harder without putting CAPTCHA friction in front of normal users.
Blocking and reporting
Participants can decline or block contact, close conversations, report a specific private message, and report a public listing for outdated information, incorrect information, safety concerns, spam, or other problems.
Focused moderation
Moderators can review safety reports, hide a listing, disable new contact, or close a reported conversation. Private conversations are not presented to moderators as a browseable inbox.

What 119 Ministries does not do
We do not perform background checks or guarantee identity.
We do not endorse a participant, group, fellowship, congregation, doctrine statement, location, or claim merely because it appears in Fellowship Finder.
We do not supervise private conversations or in-person meetings.
We cannot guarantee that another person will behave safely, truthfully, respectfully, or wisely.
Your responsibility matters
Do not rush to share your residential address, phone number, financial information, or other sensitive personal details.
For a first meeting, consider a public location, your own transportation, and telling a trusted person where you will be.
Adults remain responsible for safeguarding minors. Do not leave children alone with someone first encountered through Fellowship Finder.
Use Decline, Block, Close, and Report when appropriate. If something feels unsafe, do not continue merely because a connection started through Fellowship Finder.
Why it says “Beta”
119 Fellowship Finder 2.0 Beta is being built and refined by 119 Ministries. Features may contain errors, change, become temporarily unavailable, or be modified or discontinued as the service develops. No technical, privacy, reporting, or moderation tool catches every misuse. Material changes affecting participation requirements or privacy can require acceptance of a new agreement or consent version.
