119 Ministries exists to seek the truth of Scripture, test inherited assumptions against the Word of God, and equip believers to understand and live the whole Word as faithfully as possible.

Our purpose

Our purpose is to seek truth, bring that truth to the nations, challenge false doctrine and traditions of men, and help the body of Messiah return to Scripture as the standard for faith and practice. We believe careful study is strengthened when the Bible is read in its historical and Hebraic context rather than through assumptions that developed much later.

We test popular and unpopular doctrine alike, including our own conclusions, and encourage others to do the same.

Share the whole Word

We create resources that help people seek, understand, teach, and live out the truth of Scripture.

Serve the body

We aim to provide clear, testable, easily shared teachings that families and fellowships can study for themselves.

Core convictions

We believe the whole, unchanging Word of God is relevant to those in the faith today.
We believe believers are called to learn and obey Yahweh's Torah, His instructions.
We believe salvation is by grace through faith, not something earned by works.
We believe Yeshua taught and perfectly obeyed the Torah and is our example for how to walk.
We believe Yeshua died for our sins and was raised from the dead.

Why the name “119”?

The name comes from Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible and a sustained celebration of Yahweh's Word, commandments, statutes, and Torah. Because a central part of our ministry is helping believers recover the beauty and value of God's instructions, Psalm 119 became a fitting name and reminder of that purpose.

A ministry built around the message

We want the focus to remain on Scripture rather than personalities. Our goal is not to ask people to accept a teaching because of who said it, but to examine what was taught and test it against the Word. We welcome thoughtful correction offered in that same spirit.
