Safety & Participation Agreement

This Safety & Participation Agreement (“Fellowship Agreement”) governs your participation in 119 Fellowship Finder 2.0 Beta (“Fellowship Finder”), operated by 119 Ministries (“119 Ministries,” “119,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Fellowship Agreement supplements the 119 Assistant Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By participating in Fellowship Finder, you agree to this Fellowship Agreement and the applicable Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Please read this Agreement carefully. It includes important provisions concerning assumption of risk, release of claims, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

1. Who May Participate

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Fellowship Finder.

No person under 18 may create or control a Fellowship Finder listing, initiate or accept a contact request, participate in Fellowship Finder private messaging, or use another person's account to participate.

Fellowship Finder is intended for people who affirm faith in Yeshua / Jesus as the biblical Messiah and believe that God's Torah remains applicable to believers' lives today.

Those are the two core faith representations for participation. Differences on secondary doctrines or practices may exist among participants. If you submit a group, fellowship, or congregation listing, you represent that these two core faith statements materially and truthfully describe the group being listed, not merely your personal beliefs.

119 Ministries may review relevant publicly available information or request clarification when a listing is reported or appears materially inconsistent with those representations, but such review does not make 119 Ministries a verifier or endorser of a participant or group.

By participating, you represent that:

• you are at least 18 years old;

• the information you submit about yourself is truthful to the best of your knowledge;

• you have authority to submit any information you publish concerning a household, group, fellowship, congregation, or meeting location; and

• you will comply with this Fellowship Agreement.

2. Sensitive Information and Consent

Participation in Fellowship Finder may involve information that reveals or relates to your religious beliefs and geographic location.

In addition to agreeing to this Fellowship Agreement, you may be asked to provide separate affirmative consent for 119 Ministries to process the Fellowship Finder information you voluntarily provide for the purpose of operating Fellowship Finder.

You may withdraw that consent as allowed by applicable law. Because certain information is necessary to provide Fellowship Finder, withdrawing consent may require us to deactivate or remove your Fellowship Finder participation.

See the Privacy Policy for additional information.

3. Beta Service

Fellowship Finder 2.0 is currently offered as a Beta service.

Features may contain errors, change, become temporarily unavailable, or be modified or discontinued as the service develops.

119 Ministries does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of any particular feature, or that technical, privacy, reporting, or moderation tools will identify or prevent every misuse of the service.

Material changes affecting participation requirements, privacy, assumption of risk, liability, or other contractual rights may require acceptance of a new Agreement version.

Fellowship Finder is not an emergency communication or personal-safety monitoring service.

4. What Fellowship Finder Does

Fellowship Finder provides technology that allows adults to voluntarily:

• publish a believer/family, home-group/Bible-study, or fellowship/congregation listing;

• discover other listings geographically;

• send or receive private contact requests;

• accept or decline those requests;

• communicate privately after mutual acceptance;

• block other participants;

• report public listings or specific private messages; and

• choose whether to communicate or meet outside Fellowship Finder.

119 Ministries provides the technology for discovery and voluntary connection. We are not a party to relationships, conversations, gatherings, meetings, transactions, or other interactions between participants.

5. No Background Checks, Identity Verification, or Endorsement

119 MINISTRIES DOES NOT PERFORM BACKGROUND CHECKS OR CRIMINAL-HISTORY OR SEX-OFFENDER-REGISTRY CHECKS ON FELLOWSHIP FINDER PARTICIPANTS.

Unless we expressly state otherwise concerning a specific feature, we do not independently verify a participant's:

• identity;

• age beyond the participant's representation that he or she is eligible;

• criminal history;

• family status;

• residence or location;

• qualifications;

• reputation;

• doctrinal claims;

• affiliation with a congregation or organization;

• ownership or control of a meeting location;

• statements made in a listing or message; or

• intentions, character, conduct, or safety.

Appearance on Fellowship Finder does not mean that 119 Ministries has verified, approved, certified, recommended, vouched for, sponsored, or endorsed a person, family, home group, Bible study, fellowship, congregation, leader, doctrine statement, location, or gathering.

A Fellowship Finder participant or listed organization does not become an employee, agent, representative, partner, volunteer, affiliate, or authorized representative of 119 Ministries merely by participating in Fellowship Finder.

6. User-Generated Listings

Fellowship Finder listings are created by users.

119 Ministries does not guarantee that a listing is complete, current, accurate, safe, or truthful.

You are responsible for the information you publish.

Your listing must accurately represent you or the group you are authorized to represent. A physical Home Group or Fellowship / Congregation listing must represent a genuine local gathering that meets in person or in a hybrid in-person/online format. Online-only groups must use the separate Virtual Fellowship experience rather than presenting themselves as a local physical gathering.

You may not publish information that you do not have the right or permission to make public.

For individual or family listings, do not publish an exact residential street address.

Home groups, fellowships, and congregations should ordinarily publish only the location information reasonably necessary for discovery. If you intentionally publish an exact meeting address, you represent that you have authority to make that address public.

Do not place personal email addresses, private telephone numbers, residential addresses, financial information, or other unnecessarily sensitive information in public profile text.

Avoid unnecessary public information about marital status, household vulnerability, or minor children when it is not needed to help others understand the fellowship opportunity. 119 Ministries may ask that such information be revised or removed when we reasonably believe it could materially increase targeting, privacy, or safety risk.

119 Ministries may use automated tools to identify and restrict apparent contact information, residential addresses, spam, or other information that should not appear in public fields. Such tools are imperfect and do not guarantee that prohibited or sensitive information will always be detected.

7. Private Contact Requests and Conversations

Contact through Fellowship Finder begins by mutual choice.

A participant may accept, decline, or block a contact request. A private conversation becomes available only after a contact request is accepted.

Fellowship Finder private conversations are private between the participants.

119 Ministries does not routinely monitor, read, or browse private Fellowship Finder conversations.

Private conversations are not presented through normal administrative or moderation tools as a browseable message inbox.

If a participant affirmatively reports a specific private message, the specifically reported message and any context intentionally supplied with the report may become available to an authorized reviewer for the purpose of reviewing that report.

A very limited number of authorized technical administrators may necessarily possess underlying system or database access as part of operating and securing the service. 119 Ministries' policy is not to use that technical access to browse or read private Fellowship Finder conversations.

Private communications may also be preserved or disclosed when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

119 Ministries cannot control what another participant does with a message after receiving it. A recipient may copy, screenshot, forward, preserve, or disclose communications outside Fellowship Finder. Do not send information you would be unwilling to entrust to the person receiving it.

8. Meeting and Personal-Safety Precautions

Meeting someone first encountered online involves risk.

You decide whether, when, where, and how to communicate with or meet another participant.

For an initial meeting, reasonable precautions may include:

• meeting in a public or otherwise appropriate location;

• using independent transportation;

• telling a trusted person where you will be;

• limiting the personal information you disclose until trust has been established; and

• ending contact if something appears deceptive, coercive, threatening, or unsafe.

Do not assume that someone is safe merely because he or she professes the same faith, observes Torah, participates in a fellowship, appears on Fellowship Finder, or is known by another participant.

9. Minors

Fellowship Finder is an adults-only service.

Minors may attend a gathering at the discretion and responsibility of their parent or legal guardian, but minors may not independently use Fellowship Finder.

Adults must not allow minors to operate or communicate through an adult's Fellowship Finder account.

If your household includes minors, you may describe your family generally, but you should not publicly disclose unnecessary identifying information concerning a minor, including the minor's:

• personal email address or telephone number;

• exact birth date;

• school;

• detailed daily schedule;

• private social-media account;

• precise regular location; or

• other information that could materially increase the risk of identifying, contacting, or locating the child.

Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for supervising and safeguarding minors who attend any gathering or meeting.

119 Ministries does not screen participants for childcare, youth supervision, ministry involving minors, or access to children.

A child should not be left alone with a person merely because that person was encountered through Fellowship Finder.

10. Participant Conduct

You may not use Fellowship Finder for:

• harassment, intimidation, stalking, threats, or abusive conduct;

• impersonation or material misrepresentation;

• fraud or deception;

• spam, mass outreach, or bulk unsolicited contact;

• commercial solicitation or unauthorized advertising;

• using Fellowship Finder primarily to seek dates, a spouse, or romantic partners, including advertising that you are looking for a husband or wife or repeatedly contacting participants primarily for romantic purposes;

• promotion or recruitment whose primary purpose is advertising a ministry, teaching platform, conference, fundraiser, product, channel, website, or organization rather than representing a genuine community presence;

• mass or indiscriminate outreach by online-only groups or other participants;

• sexually inappropriate or exploitative conduct;

• unlawful activity;

• attempts to obtain another participant's financial credentials or other sensitive information through deception;

• publishing another person's private information without permission;

• malicious or knowingly false reports;

• evasion of blocks, restrictions, or account suspensions;

• repeated doctrinal campaigning, recruitment into a niche doctrinal movement, or pressure or harassment intended to compel another participant to adopt your personal doctrinal conclusions; or

• conduct that materially interferes with the safety or intended operation of Fellowship Finder.

A legitimate fellowship or congregation may identify itself and provide ordinary descriptive information, including its normal public website. That does not make Fellowship Finder a general ministry-promotion or advertising platform.

Differences in doctrine or practice may occur, and disagreement on a secondary doctrine by itself is not a violation. Fellowship Finder is not a platform for doctrinal campaigning or a mechanism for compelling another participant to agree with you.

11. Blocking, Reporting, and Moderation

Participants may decline contact, block users, close conversations, report listings, and report specific private messages.

119 Ministries may, but is not obligated to, investigate reports or take any particular action in response to a report except where required by law.

Moderation decisions may consider credible reports, the content of a listing or specifically reported message, publicly available information relevant to a listing's representations, repeated conduct, and patterns of concern. The number of reports alone does not automatically establish that a violation occurred.

Depending on the circumstances, 119 Ministries may:

• ask a participant to clarify or revise a listing;

• hide or remove a listing;

• disable contact requests;

• restrict an account;

• suspend or terminate Fellowship Finder access;

• preserve information where appropriate;

• remove content; or

• take another action reasonably related to operating or protecting Fellowship Finder.

The existence of reporting or moderation tools does not mean that 119 Ministries monitors all user activity or guarantees that misconduct will be discovered, prevented, investigated, or resolved.

12. No Emergency Service

Fellowship Finder reporting tools are not an emergency service.

Do not rely on Fellowship Finder or 119 Ministries to obtain emergency assistance.

If you believe that you or another person faces immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement authority.

13. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT COMMUNICATING WITH OR MEETING PEOPLE FIRST ENCOUNTERED THROUGH AN ONLINE COMMUNITY SERVICE INVOLVES INHERENT AND POTENTIALLY SERIOUS RISKS.

Participants may misrepresent their identity, age, history, intentions, beliefs, affiliations, location, character, or conduct.

Risks associated with online or in-person interactions may include, among other things, deception, fraud, harassment, stalking, theft, threats, sexual misconduct, assault, bodily injury, death, property damage, emotional harm, financial loss, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable harm.

YOU VOLUNTARILY CHOOSE WHETHER, WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW TO INTERACT WITH OTHER PARTICIPANTS AND KNOWINGLY ACCEPT THE RISKS INHERENT IN THOSE INTERACTIONS, SUBJECT TO RIGHTS AND LIABILITIES THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT TO BE WAIVED.

14. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS — INCLUDING ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you knowingly and voluntarily release and agree not to hold liable 119 Ministries and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and service providers (“119 Parties”) for claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, injuries, or liabilities arising from or relating to:

• acts or omissions of another Fellowship Finder participant;

• inaccurate, incomplete, deceptive, or unlawful user-generated content;

• private communications between participants;

• voluntary meetings, gatherings, relationships, transactions, transportation, or other interactions between participants;

• a participant's decision to disclose personal information;

• 119 Ministries' decision not to perform background checks or independent identity verification;

• a failure to discover or prevent another participant's misconduct;

• the operation of reporting, blocking, listing, contact-request, or moderation features; or

• the voluntary use of Fellowship Finder to discover or communicate with another person,

INCLUDING CLAIMS ALLEGING ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT BY A 119 PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH THE DESIGN, PROVISION, OPERATION, MODERATION, SCREENING, WARNING, OR ADMINISTRATION OF FELLOWSHIP FINDER OR A FAILURE TO PREVENT THE ACTS OF ANOTHER PERSON.

This release applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

THIS RELEASE DOES NOT RELEASE OR WAIVE LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, RECKLESS OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, INTENTIONAL WRONGDOING, FRAUD, OR ANY OTHER CLAIM, DUTY, RIGHT, OR LIABILITY THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT TO BE RELEASED OR WAIVED.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fellowship Finder is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

119 Ministries makes no warranty that:

• participants are who they claim to be;

• listings are accurate or current;

• another participant is safe;

• a fellowship or congregation teaches sound doctrine;

• a meeting place is safe;

• reporting or blocking tools will prevent misconduct;

• the service will be uninterrupted or error-free; or

• Fellowship Finder will successfully produce a suitable fellowship, relationship, or community connection.

You remain responsible for exercising your own judgment and discernment.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, no 119 Party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunity, or other intangible loss arising from or relating to Fellowship Finder.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the 119 Parties for claims arising from or relating to Fellowship Finder will not exceed the greater of:

(a) $100; or

(b) the amount you paid directly to 119 Ministries for use of the applicable Service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits the relevant limitation.

The release in Section 14 and the limitation in this Section operate independently.

17. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the 119 Parties from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising from or relating to:

• content or information you submit or publish;

• your violation of another person's privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, or other legal rights;

• a meeting, gathering, or activity you organize or host;

• information concerning another person that you publish without required authority or consent;

• your unlawful conduct;

• your material violation of this Fellowship Agreement; or

• your intentional or wrongful conduct toward another participant.

This provision does not require you to indemnify a 119 Party for liability that applicable law prohibits shifting to you.

119 Ministries may assume control of the defense of a covered third-party claim, and you agree to reasonably cooperate with that defense.

18. Suspension and Termination

119 Ministries may suspend, restrict, or terminate Fellowship Finder access if we reasonably determine that:

• you violated this Fellowship Agreement;

• your use creates a meaningful safety, security, legal, or technical risk;

• you are abusing the service or another participant;

• your listing is materially false or unauthorized;

• continued access would materially interfere with Fellowship Finder or its community; or

• suspension or termination is otherwise reasonably necessary to operate the service.

You may stop participating, pause or remove your listing where those controls are available, close conversations, or close your account.

19. Changes to this Agreement

119 Ministries may revise this Fellowship Agreement as Fellowship Finder develops.

Minor or administrative changes may become effective upon posting.

If we materially change provisions involving eligibility, privacy, sensitive-data processing, assumption of risk, release of claims, liability, or dispute resolution, we may require renewed affirmative acceptance before continued Fellowship Finder participation.

The Agreement version accepted by the participant will be recorded.

20. Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Fellowship Agreement supplements the 119 Assistant Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The Terms of Service govern matters not specifically addressed here, including intellectual property, general account rules, governing law, arbitration, class-action waiver, and other dispute-resolution provisions.

If this Fellowship Agreement directly conflicts with the general Terms concerning Fellowship Finder participation or Fellowship-specific safety and risk allocation, this Fellowship Agreement controls for Fellowship Finder.

The dispute-resolution provisions in the Terms of Service apply to disputes concerning Fellowship Finder except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
