This Privacy Policy describes how 119 Ministries (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the 119 Assistant (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1) Information we collect
- Account & authentication: email, password (hashed), auth logs, and user metadata (e.g., accepted_terms_at/version).
- Usage & quotas: monthly messages used/quota and add-on credit balances needed to operate your account.
- Conversations: We review anonymous chat logs to keep things reliable. We can’t see who you are. Please avoid sharing sensitive info. Operational database access is restricted to a minimal set of owners for security and compliance.
- Payments: billing events handled by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card data on our servers.
- Technical: device/browser info, IP (for security), and server logs (errors, performance). Retention is limited.
2) How we use information
- Authenticate you and operate core features (chat, history, quotas, billing).
- Provide support and detect/prevent abuse or fraud.
- Improve reliability and quality (e.g., error logs, usage diagnostics).
- Send critical transactional emails (signup confirmations, password resets, receipts).
3) Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run the Service, such as:
- Hosting/build: Vercel
- Database & auth: Supabase
- Payments: Stripe
- Email delivery: our SMTP provider
- AI model inference: third-party model provider
We do not sell your personal information.
4) Cookies and local storage
We use cookies/local storage for authentication and session continuity (e.g., staying signed in, local drafts). You can control cookies in your browser settings.
5) Data retention
- Account and billing records: retained as required for operations and law.
- Chat history: retained until you delete threads (subject to backup retention).
- Operational logs: typically up to ~30–90 days.
- Backups: limited-term rolling backups for disaster recovery.
6) Security
We use reputable cloud providers and industry practices to protect data. No method is 100% secure; report issues to support@119assistant.ai.
7) Your choices
- Access, update, or delete your account data within the app or by contacting support.
- Delete individual conversations from your chat history.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential emails if enabled (transactional emails continue).
8) Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or your region’s digital consent age). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.
9) Changes
We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
