A little guidance for your study
New to Torah Portions?
A Torah portion is a section of the first five books of Scripture, read as part of an annual cycle. The accompanying Prophets and Brit Hadasha (New Testament) passages provide additional connections to explore.
- Read the Scripture references for the week.
- Observe repeated words, themes, and connections.
- Ask questions, discuss with others, and test what you learn against Scripture.
How is this schedule organized?
Readings are grouped into Sunday–Saturday weeks, using America/Chicago time to select the current week. Each reading retains its listed date. Special festival readings can appear alongside a weekly portion.
The 2025–2026 cycle reproduces the official schedule supplied to 119 Assistant. Dates for later cycles through 2030 are calculated from the published Biblical Calendar, using the same 119 Ministries reading sequence and festival readings. Only calendar data is used; prophetic or eschatological predictions are not part of this schedule.
Reading, sharing, and printing
Use Previous week and Next week to browse the readings, or This week to return to the current portion. For a paper reading plan, choose a cycle under “Download the reading schedule.” Each PDF includes the full selected cycle.
Open a reading to switch between Torah, Prophets, and Brit Hadasha, adjust the text size, or jump to a chapter. “Copy reading link” preserves the week, portion, and reading category. “Print reading” prints the selected category with its title and Scripture references.
The hosted Scripture text is the World English Bible (WEB). If text is unavailable, use the listed reference in your Bible.
